My Hero
Tomorrow is my wife’s last day of radiation therapy and after watching her go through the diagnosis, the reality of having cancer, and now the treatment she is truly my Hero.
I have often thought how I would react if I were given the same news, but now I know that I would just try to act like the example she has been to me.

I think the older I get, I grow more nostalgic for older personal items. For example, two weeks ago I purchased a Hamilton 972 lever-set railroad watch and it has quickly become one of my favorite time pieces out of about twenty that I currently own.

Community
Yesterday I had a very interactive meeting with people that I have never met about a common “thing” that we all love. In fact, I drove almost three hours, one way, just to meet these new humans without any question.
This can be applied to many things that we love. We will go the distance for things we love and to make new connections in our Community.
